Swartwitpens Jagtersvereniging was established in September 2008 and is an independent Hunting Association located in the East Rand of Johannesburg, with its own constitution and disciplinary code according to which the association is managed.

As a full member of The Confederation of Hunting Associations of South Africa (CHASA) we are able to help members with dedicated hunting and dedicated sports shooting status.

Our Mission

The CHASA mission, namely: “Promote sustainable ethical hunting through responsible leadership” is wholeheartedly endorsed by Swartwitpens Hunting Association.

We strive to serve hunters on the East Rand and surrounding areas with information, advice, training and administrative support in all aspects of ethical hunting and nature conservation.

Our goal is to promote the reputation of hunters and the image of the hunting industry by striving for the following:
o Game conservation through sustainable utilization
o Supporting the culture of ethical hunting
o Training of a new generation of junior hunters
o Advise members regarding firearm legislation and motivations

We do the above with pride and cheerfulness.
